Masked Ducks. Even in confinement, a duck's got to have fun.

Tè ! is gascon for Tiens ! a greeting that roughly translates as “Here!”, or “Look!”  Thé is French for tea and sounds almost the same.

Like a real super hero, Mamie is the guardian of all that is good in the world. Especially her own recipe for foie gras. Her knowledge and experience will be conserved in a jar, while stocks last.

Les plombiers Landais.  (The plumbers of Les Landes)

Plombiers sounds almost like palombières, which are the huts used to hide while hunting wood pigeons (palombes) in Les Landes.

A tisane is an infusion, often herbal tea. This waiter is providing his happy customer with an armagnac, infused with the flavour and colour of the oak vat.

Seduced by his music.

Clearly, this fisherman is not having any luck. Time for Plan B

This is not a pipe. A homage to Magritte and his surreal painting "Ceci n'est pas une pipe". This farmer is confronted with what for him is clearly a painting of a béret, even though it says that it isn't. For a man grounded in the practicality of farming, the message is obviously going over his head.

Golf is a frustrating game, but there are happy moments nonetheless. Available as an A4, A3, A2 print and on canvas.

'Froid de canard' is a French description when it is bitterly cold. Clearly, this poor chap is going to have to do better than a few droopy flowers to warm this lady's heart.
